That's a special mirror to correctly view hotrods p***ing. a firmly mounted mirror will only make the hotrod's headlights appear jiggly
Highschool buddy had a 66 with a 292 they offset ground the crank and used rods and pistons from 2 other engines and he had a clifford intake and holley 880? on it with 6 into 1 header and a milled and ported head with oversize valves. His cousin was into racing and they built it in the high school machine shop. It would blow away 350 camaros and blew up a few rear axles, not just stripped gears but blown apart... It shot spider gears out the cover and through the radiator of the guy behind him once. I thought it was a high performance v8 with a high speed cam first time I heard it and asked "where's the other tailpipe"
I dig this truck. But I am a little partial to the 63 C10. Keep the 230. You'll appreciate the mileage.
