It's been a long time coming, but I was able to find a guy that was willing to take my truck and cash for his '49 chopped mordor. It's not the chopped 2 dr of my dream, but I'm getting closer. The car was built in '84 and has 1 repaint. There are some bubbles that will need attention, but in due time. I luv my new Tinker Toy already.
Nice congrats! Nothing like fulfilling that dream is there! I know when I finally got mine I didnt sleep for a month and it is just a project, I cant imagine having one I could actually drive! Jim
Can't blame you; I'd be happy too! Someone put a lot of work into that. Any plans to 'personalize' it? (Not that it NEEDS anything, ..... but we all know how we are! )
Nice ride. Neat paint scheme. Nothing wrong with a 4 door. Trust me, it will grow on you more and more and before you know it the 2 doors will start to look out of proportion (don't flame me for that comment). What are your plans to make it yours? I know everybody's tastes are different, but I would start by getting rid of the spinners and the mirrors. What color are the rims now or do you have a couple each color?

im not really big on 4 doors but your merc is pretty sharp looking ride , id drive it with a big ole stupid grin on my face , and the breeze in my hair
