Was found on a potato farm was used to pull a potato wagon . Little over 10,000 miles on it when I got it . 1963 Plymouth Belvedere 361 Commando Wagon . Engine is stock with some dress up items and safety items like Power Disc brakes. Engine compartment paint was left untouched to show its originality. New wheels and tires with cut outs on new exhaust
That's a bad ass looking wagon, I dig it. Nice job, on the details, scoop, stance, right on the money!
Your car is sweet!! It reminds me of the story I read about the "Music Box" I dont remember year or model but I know it was a similar year to yours. It ran an early 383 (poly?) with 2 4bbl carbs and was NHRA legal in a Stock class. It had been found and saved???
Jamoke, back in the day who would have thought these old wagons would ever become cool looking? It's a super nice car and not something you see very often. Thanks for sharing. Gary
I love it . . . and there was a period in time where I'd want nothing to do with it! LOL My parents had a 68 Ford 'County Squire' station wagon - it was our only good family car . . . and used as a pickup many a time. Hell, it hauled a lot of car parts around for me and even towed the trailer for my 34 Ford (going to the drags). In the days before the family 'mini van' - they sure were popular.
