Those Chromed E400 valve covers look great. Nice build.

Looks like the original Mechanical Tach drive dizzy as well. No stamped steel timing cover but you stated 390 & not 391.

Do you have the long neck waterpump?

The timing cover is dated a 63 unit. its the original 361 block, but its got 390 innards in it. its kinda a hodge podge of parts.

From my understanding 1958 Edsel had a stamped TC cover & a waterpump that had a shaft about 1" longer. I've got one here & wondered if you were using one. It's really odd looking compared to other FE pumps. I think that the pulleys were also different? I'll have to check the 1958 361 I've got.

Nice job & how you also thanked those who helped.

Great News Aaron.......can't wait to hear it now!

  10. I love the way the early FEs look with the oil fill in the intake and smooth valve covers. I cant believe how many people dont know what a FE is. People cant seem to figure out what one is. I had a dude look at my 56 and say, yep, still has the Y block. Close anyway. Looks good man
