I was really hoping to drive my new 41 Pontiac home from it's old home but the master cylinder refused to build any pressure at all! Nada.
The previous owner offered to tow it on his trailer for me for the price of diesel fuel...a measly $20.....I accepted.

It followed along obediently with no mishaps along the way, thank God.

It's resting comfortably in front of the neighbor's house. Tomorrow, when the guy comes to take my 36 chevy pickup out of my garage, I'll intsall the coupe in it's new home and begin repairs....

Plans? First off, I wanna get it running and stopping ok. Then I wanna change it to 12 volt and rewire it totally. It's gonna be lowered before I'll be seen in public and I suspect the right rear spring has a few busted leaves to fix...prolly replace both rear springs with a pair of flat ones.....
The clear-coat is peeling off...not really sure how to procede here...maybe sand the flaky **** off and re-clear with a little flattener thrown in........7" wide steelies and stock caps should work too...maybe do the wheels in white or creme with black tires.

Thanks Tim......I'll run the antique flathead 6 and 3 speed this year....while I'm shopping for a poncho V/8 motor. I got a 400 with a 350 turbo in Oregon but it's so expensive to have it shipped back to Omaha!

..........and, Big Dog, use 41-48 chevy bumpers on the shortened brackets...they're so much simpler looking. Rechrome the indian head ornaments and put 'em on the chevy bumpers

Thanks Mai Ki Ki but I don't think I wanna do it as a custom. No whitewalls, fenderskirts or spotlights for me, thanks anyway. 400 or 455, 4 speed is more my speed but I appreciate the trouble you went to for the image..thank you
