Love the ribs on lower fenders Rocky.....I never saw them [not] chrome peices. also are those bumpers the nickle plated ones or is that Old paint...[war year car?]
It's pre-war...all 41s' had chrome bumpers but evidently, the chrome musta gone bad on this car and farmer john painted it over with cheap silver paint. The stainless is really nice tho. The painted stock bumpers are yet another reason for me wanting the aftermarket chevy chrome bumpers. I'll save up my nickles and dimes to have the grille replated...may hafta refinance the house to pay for it....
Butt....I can see it now......that lowrider pic of Mai Ki-Ki?...... ...This year's HAMB drags we're all hanging out at Ryan's registration table....in rolls a Pontiac lowrider sporting D's.........out jumps Rocky, wearing maddog sunglasses..." Hey Guys!, who wants to race? "
PS> Sorry Rocky Sir for*****ing waith yah ride! It's awesome....can't wait to see what you REALLY do with it! Cheers MAIKI
I like all the submissions but I think it'll prolly look like fat-hack's design in real life.....with a wash job and I polished the chrome hubcaps this evening...they're actually shiny
My round 48 Pontiac tailights came in the mail today! They go right where the stockers go only they're round! Why GM put square tailights on a round car is beyond me......
here is a little study with photoshop I was doing for my 41 Chevy (similar body style so I think it would look kickass on your ride too)......I think this is the style every pre and early post war cars should be done.....
Aw,*****...this one just kinda got away from me... ...but I'll post it just to scramble your eggs a bit!!
That ride of your's Rockey with the 455,a good stance and a third pedal in it would be SWEET! Thought I'd throw in my 2 cents.
[ QUOTE ] "STRAIGHT 12" VERSION, fAT? [/ QUOTE ] Ha Ha...yeah, sumthin' like that!! Kinda luxo-roddish!!!
Cool car Rocky. I'm sure glad to read you are talking pontiac V-8. As much as I love SBC I strongly feel that car needed the big Poncho V-8, And a 4 speed would totally be iceing on the cake
I had to resize this image twice [screwed up the first resize] and lost a bunch of detail...has both clock delete and radio delete plates. This is a plain jane 25 series car..
Now, for the REAL story of what happened... Fat Hack got wind of Rocky's initial inkling to run a small block Chevy with Poncho covers in his cool new ride, so he intercepted the car and kidnapped Dennis Anderson to help him "tweak" it a little! When Rocky arrived to pick up the car, Fat Hack was lying in wait for him with the Bravedigger, and gave chase! Rocky turned and fled back to Omaha's Mutual Wild-dom with the Hack in Hot Pursuit!!! Run, Rocky...RUN!!!!! (Powered by Pontiac, of course!! )
