Do you still have both your arms? Because thats about what it cost ya! Those Carbs look real good on top of that Chevy Motor!
The colour itself was custom mixed to match the superior 500 wheel I bought for the car.It is actually a metallic primer made by HOK,then we put a product called metaljuls-I think that is how you spell it-suspended in clear-over the top.Matt Egan painted it for me,after I stripped off years of "hot rod red".
Rootbeer would look ace. Give me a call when you get to the diamond pleat stage. Or just pearl T&R would suit.
Cool-thanks SixFive-wont be till mid next year though-my wallet is still recovering from the 97s!!!!!!!
Richo , I need to teach you how to take a pic as that pic does nothing compared to seeing it in real life , very cool man ......keep going with the pics of the build ............. Cad
Gosh, your engine looks so nice, elricho...the carbs are beautiful. I luuuuuv a '50s/'60s overhead V8 with multiple carbs...'specially chrome ones. I've got a six-carb intake for the 430 MEL that I'll use in my '29 roadster, and it's gonna be expensive for all those chrome carbs, BUT...gotta have 'em. Jewelry!
The engine looks great. The color on the engine sets it off great. What color is that on the engine ?
Perfect!!! Absolutely beautiful! Love the stacks on the carbs too! Mart3406 =======================================
Looks like the economy just got a good boost! It will again when you finish that thing and need gallons of chrome polish to keep it clean! LOL. Nice setup. Sharp looking project.
Sure is a beauty . . . . but man I'd hate to have to clean and polish all that chrome. But, it does look stunning, so there is a definite trade off.
It was a custom mix to match the steering wheel-House of Kolor metallic basecoat with spanish gold Kandy concentrate
money schmoney, shits expensive thats just the way it is, my cars and garage total much more than my poor old krapshak, just depends what ya wnt in life 5k in carbs and 6 bucks for a meat pie and a ice coffee.thats the way i see it.
