Technical Got my Spalding back from Bubbas

Lovin' the UPS service today. Three deliveries including...

...my rebuilt Nailhead Spalding from Bubbas. Jim did stellar work, VERY happy with his service. He tells me the distributor had likely never been used, mint condition inside.

If you are thinking of getting one of these be sure to throw it his way. He supplied a nice pair of Bosch coils to power it too.

Will be selling the SBC Spalding (actually a Grant) one in a couple of the photos since I found the nailhead one.

 

Cool! Could you put up a pic of the coils please?

 

They are just plain Bosch 00012 coils....as in the image below:

At least someone's happy with UPS. They delivered 4 new jack stands and a floor jack to the wrong address on Tuesday. Neighbor 1/4 mile away called to say he had them. Filed a lost package complaint with UPS anyway. Gonna let them sweat for a few days before I tell them the items are found.

How's Bubba with magnetos ? I have an old 4 cyl Edison/Splitdorf mag that I'd like to have gone over.

I think he handles magnetos too. Drop him a line. his motto is "if it makes a spark we rebuild it" or something like that.

Thanks wex65. Not in a hurry for the mag. I'm trying to locate a side drive for a B engine I plan on building. I'll give him a shout once my parts start to come together. I'd rather have a Wico , but I already have the Edison/Splitdorf.
