Do I have to put my capslock on?

GO GET CHECKED OUT BY A DOCTOR!, and take everyone in your family involved too.

I did not get my nickname or handle by choice. I learned the hard way, and I am reminded of it almost daily.

    Do not follow my example.

  2. Ouch, been there done that. Hate it, but I'm glad you all seem to be okay.

BTW, from some one who's been down this road, ditto on getting checked. Strange things happen in a wreck. Better safe than sorry. Good luck dealing with the ins. co. too.

I have to second what everyone is saying. Definitely get checked out and schedule follow ups in case problems arise later.
I am reminded of this everytime I can't walk properly or have proper use of my hands. The drunk driver hit me at 3pm after jumping a concrete divider. He got 2 points on his license.

I would still get a suit laid on him. You never know that SOB could win the lotto next week. Better to have a worthless judgement against him than no recourse later when he may be in the chips.

Glad to hear everyone is physically un-damaged.

PLEASE go and get checked out, especially the pregnant GF.

i have only been in one accident in my life, about 6 years ago, and i was in the back seat of dad's 88 cadillac deville. we got rearended by a kid that wasn't paying attention. i thought i was ok, as i was feeling no pain, and i didn't for almost a year. BUT, now there are times i can barely walk or move my head around. my neck and back are fucked and there is nothing i can do about it.

Glad to hear everyones ok. Talk to your doctors like everyone else said to make everyone stays ok. Hope all goes well!

Perhaps those people are just mad because you're actually following the rules and not pseudo arresting the drunk then allowing them to be found by hikers in the woods three months after. J/K. haha. :D -GothY-

Wow, thank God you and your family are OK. I agree with the go and get yourself checked opinions. PEOPLE WHO DRIVE DRUNK ARE JACKASS IDIOTS! Just like these jerks who "text" while driving. Some people do not care about the MESS they make in other people's lives. What's really sad, too, is that alot of these jerks are second and third time offenders driving without a license or insurance and obviously without the brain power to make an intelligent decision. I'm glad to hear you are ok ,my prayers are with you and your wife.

  17. Glad to hear you were all OK, they should lock these drunk drivers up and throw away the key. They do it again and again, fines, taking their drivers license away, it doesn't seem to matter.

I've lost 7 of my best friends throughout the years to drunk drivers.
DONT LET ME CATCH YOU DRIVING DRUNK. I'll have no mercy, compassion or remorse.
Get checked. This isnt "I'm ok. "

the preggo wife checks out ok as well

  20. I overheard one of our local attorneys brag about how adept she was at text messaging while driving. I told her if she runs into me while texting, especially if I'm driving my '38 Ford pickup or my '55 Ford, she will think her name is "The Defendant."

Make him an offer: tell him you won't sue him for everything he has and everything he's going to have for the next 15 years, if you can have one un-obstructed kick to his nuts. He has to stand there, legs shoulder-width apart, hands hanging onto a bar overhead.

That'd be fair. And if more crimes were dealt with my way, there'd be a helluva lot less recidivism out there. (95 percent of the crimes committed would fall into three categories: Ball pein hammer to the hand that's laying open on a metal table, shot to the nuts, .38 caliber bullet to the back of the head.)

Glad you to hear you're okay.

Just wanted to check back that you and your wife are still doing okay. New pains creep up after a couple days following an accident. Something to also think about is your state will enforce a judgement to cover injuries and property loss caused by an uninsured motorist. They will pay you and his debt will be with the state.
Make sure your misses and little keep getting follow-ups.

i got rear ended by drunk on i-5 south of seattle,wa bout 13 yr ago. i was doing bout 65 and it totaled the 1 ton he was driving. i was driving semi truck weighing bout 74,000 lbs. i see back cracker bout once a month now. lower back pain is a bitch

  26. Glad you got checked out, conditions often show up for days or weeks after, so don't ignore them, and keep a log of daily symptoms. In 15 years I've been rear ended 12 times, and one head-on. The 1rst one was a drunk driver at 6 PM on a Friday night. He blew a .34 blood alcohol level. He hit me, the last car in a long lineup at a red light, at 100 km'h (65mph),never touched his brakes, until after everything came to rest including the pickup he pushed me into. For many months after, new symptoms to the whiplash injury continued to show up, so don't be surprised if they do,keep getting checked. Hopefully everything continues to be okay, all the best to you all.

Sorry to hear that. My wife and I got rear ended a similar way in our new car that had less than 6000 miles on it while sitting at a red light. I'm really glad to hear your wifes ok, that would have been terrible. Hope they throw the book at him!

  29. "Just Whiplash"????????

I was under the impression that whiplash was some serious shit with heavy repercussions later.
