got smog???

hey guys,

trying to mount my alt onto my 283, and some one came up with using a smog pump bracket of a 70s chevy small block

mounts to the water pump and the intake manifold, right in the middle of the motor.


went threw a ton of trucks and only found one and it was all bent up.

its realy something that every one just throws in the trash, and i realy realy need one.

if your looking at one wondering if its the one i need. it mounts to the water pump and the intake manifold and would work for an alt mount

I literally just got rid of one from a pickup. I parted out a 1989 camaro a year ago. That musta had one on it, would that work? I dont remember what it looks like but im sure I still have it laying around somewhere. Camaro had a 305 if it makes any difference........................Briggs

 

dont think itd make any difference long as its off a sbc, i think its sorta flat lookin?

if it looks like it would would for an alt mount and bolts to the water pump and manifold itd prlly work
