Got the delivery home and some pics of the A project

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by fordnutz, Oct 16, 2003.

  1. I think I have decided to build the delivery. Just got it home a couple of days ago. 57 Canadian Pontiac. Uses 57 chevy frame and running gear. Short Canadian Pontiac front fenders. About 220 made. Will make a wicked parts chaser.

  2. I set my chopped 28 A body on the frame to make it a roller. Not going to use the tube axle. I will post a pic of the chromed setup.

  3. Here are some of the goodies slated for the A. Want to do it early 60's style fenderless.

  4. Motor for the A. Needs ram horns yet. 6 deuces on a 327.

  6. Danny, I left Vancouver 5 years ago because I hated the rain. Sunny here 90 percent of the time. Cold, but sunny.

Got a buddy here in the midwest with a Canadian 57 Poncho delivery. He also has a canadian 56 delivery. Hey, if you change your mind about the 57 and wanna sell it, let me know. I've been looking for one for awhile now.

  8. Rocky, your buddy makes the 7th one I have heard about so far. I saw one on the net in Australia. I think there are 3 or 4 on the west coast. Shiney says there is one or 2 on the Island. This one is pretty solid except for the roof on the passenger side. Mice rotted it out along the gutter. I need to pull of the sedan delivery panels and change roofs. Need a 2 door wagon Pontiac or chev for the roof.
