Got the roof stripped... It was like stripping a whole car!

glad you got back on the horse,i felt sick when i saw the pics of the wreck,just looked again, you've come a long way already,love that blue, beautiful color...

 

Time for major surgery... Good thing I have extra metal!!

Last night I found the horrendous repair done by on of the previous owners- The edge of the quarter is in almost 1/2" too far. It must be rebuilt





I took the edge piece I needed from the spare 54 fender I had. The curve was a bit to tight, so I cut slits in the flange, then bent it to the right contour, and re-welded it....

More tomorrow. If I can get some more cutoff wheels anyway....
