Got them Title Blues

  1. Use Las Vegas ***le Service at its-***les.com. I've used them on 2 cars with no problem. It appears as your signing the car over to them but they are to busy making money to come get your car. You fill out the paper work and they send you an Alabama registration which is a non ***le state (the service gives you all the paper work to back it up) up to the early 70s. So it looks like you got the car from Alabama.
Unless they've went up you can do it for under $150 plus whatever the California DMV will charge you to ***le the car. I've used them on a 56 Chevy and a 20 Willys Overland with no problems in TN. Check into it.

  2. It's amazing how something so simple gets turned into a bag of **** from so many injecting misinformation. if you are not from cali don't say anything as most states are different than cali. but then again who am i to say anything i have only done more than my fair share of them.

I've had a ***** of a time on a car from California, and a car that went TO California. I may not live there, but I've dealt with your ***holes at the DMV before. I've bought cars and trucks in quite a few States, including Kaleeforneeah. I am quite qualified to comment, thanks.

Fifty States, fifty friggin' sets of statutes!

It is very simple. Google, Ask, or Bing "(your State) vehicle and ***le statutes" This will get you the no-**** right info every time, for every State. How your local licensing authority interprets it,. and how YOU may interpret it, are usually two different interpretations, and that is where the ***pain starts. Key is, do **** LEGALLY, whatever you do!

Actually, as much as people ***** about California, the CA DMV is old car friendly (1974 & older) --> no kind of inspection or smog required. The car is new to CA or out of the DMV system? --> just a VIN verification required, which merely matches the ***le to the car....no safety inspections or anything like that. Do as Carl suggests.
