Been quite awhile since I posted on here. But here.s the story. I found this 26 Ford Model T 2dr sedan on CL and its only about 50 miles from here. It takes about a week of haggleing but I finally closed the deal. The story was that the car belonged to a young man from Arkansas (didnt get the town) who parked it in his barn before joining the military during WWII. He never made it back and the car has sat in the barn all this time. The barn colapsed or something and the family decided to sell the car. Kind of a shame because of the history behind it. Would have been nice to donate it to a museum or something. Turns out two guys who bought it where from Mississippi. One guy took everything but the body so he could build a "horse buggy"! What a waste of a good T. But at least I got the body and its in great shape. Even came with the patch panels. It will be a future project that I will build to kind of match my coupe. Heres some pics of what it looked like when found and of it being put up in my garage.
I've always liked the tall T sedans but you rarely see them anymore,,they seem to be so radically chopped or have the top completely removed. HRP
I agree. I had originally planned on chopping my coupe. But after I got it to this point, Ive decided I like it stock. Plus, like you said, it seems they have all been chopped. I like to be different....
