This came home with me today, plans? Not sure but make it road worthy and drive the hell out of it, chop it hell no!
Looks very promising and thanks for not cutting the hell out of it. I've always had the feeling that one day, the guys with chopped deuce's would regret it.
Yep, that's a 32 Pontiac-same body lines as my 31's. Like everyone else, they dropped the outside visor from 31 to 32.
yep its a pontiac gonna use the pontiac rims on it, been wanting a coupe so i traded a 56 ford 2dr wagon for it, this winters build is going to be so much fun!!!!
The old girl has been burnt, most of the wood is gone, would love to find someone that knows about some of the wood parts for it the rest will be steel, the body lines are so cool! Phil thanks for the help today!
Good find. I was glad to hear it is a Pontiac. Is there going to be a 326 V8 in your future endeavors?
Great find. These guys have wood for early Chevy's. Maybe they can help you. They have exploded views of the body wood on their website. http://www.autowood.net/drawings.htm
NO chop but alot of work, i think wood is out of the question pretty exspenive, wiil set down and start making steel braces to hold it together i cant hurt it anymore than it is,i know theres guys that make this look new but thats not what i want i will build it safe and drive it. Has mustang 2 front and a 10 bolt rear already, have a small block setting on the engine stand to bolt in it, this shoud be fun!
yep, be original and don't chop that burnt beauty. it's made it this long with the original steel and chop is becoming a cookie cutter look imop. so much you can do and not hide it under a chop. good find.
Motor mounts and ****** mount in already, things going real smooth, swap meet this weekend in cedar rapids, gonna look for more parts.
Long over due update, gonna maybe take it for a 1st drive around the block this weekend, temps are supposed to be in the 30s.
