I have a 1950 F3 that I got from my Granddad almost 40 years ago. Motor broke 30 years ago and it has sat inside since. This spring I started digging into it. Plan is to get the motor to someone to rebuild the short block. Fix the brakes put the motor back in and drive it.

    Thoughts:
Any minor tricks you recommend for the motor? Flathead V8. I want to stay with the original motor but might consider some minor mods.

I saw a string in here about converting the RFT to PCV. I would like to do that so it is cleaner. Thoughts?

    12V or 6V?

Brakes, needs master cylinder. Is there a dual cylinder conversion available?

Can anyone identify more about this truck off the firewall stamp and name plate? IMG_20180512_175731476.jpeg IMG_20180421_171301072.jpeg IMG_20180421_165011742.jpeg IMG_20180416_205021044.jpeg
