  15. I can walk to the gates of the Fairplex from my house. I didn't go to the show this year. Why?? Because I can see everything right here. I sit at the computer and look at the whole show from the comfort of my den.. And I don't have to pay for parking or deal with the crowds. I spent the day working on hotrods. Tonight I enjoy the G.N.R.S... Too easy..

this made me laugh, thanks. if you can walk to the front gate why pay for parking?? yea i get you hate the whole crowd thing, but its not the same! being there or any event is so much better. you should have gone friday, best day to avoid the crowds! but you do miss all the cars that drive in on saturday. to each there own. but you being so close, i dont know how you could miss out:confused:

  17. Last year I went to so many damn shows that I got tired of looking at cars. Burnt out. The money I spent last year on shows could have financed a complete build. The time I spent, I could have finished 2 more cars. I hope the thrill of the shows comes back. I enjoy seeing the things people do to these cars. Its amazing. I love seeing the history. But for now.. I see it from here.. ( the comment about parking was me being an ass.. Hell.. I don't have to pay for admission. Thats how burnned out I am)

    A great show, as usual.
I wound up with sensory overload and a headache by the end of the day.
I guess there is such a thing as "too much of a good thing".

Great photos as usual, any shot of Fabian's Chevy coupe, it looks like it's finally finished. Need to see some good shots of it.

Thanks for sharing the pics!.Looking at the Aztec,Peep Jacksons' Bird, and Jr Conways clone, looks like Barris had bought the paint by the 55 Gallon.Doubt they are all the same color, but damn close.

All them cars in one place is just amazing.

You know, I have been in that state of mind before. Getting burned out sucks, but eventually you rise from the ashes.
