    Just gor back from more than a week on the road, spent the first part in So Cal attending the GNRS. What a great show as usually with some outstanding rides. Some great Customs and as usually incredible lowriders. There were a number of great contenders, 5 out of the 18 were true contenders I thought, but have to believe the picking of the AMBR has become who you know and not the best car. Alloyway built roadster was nice, but typical Alloyway look (it looks like most roadsters he has done) and in my opinion was a Top 6 or 7 ride (maybe being inducted into Hall of Fame helped him with the win).. I thought I had a good eye as my Top 3 guesses of the AMBR usually includes the actual AMBR winner, this year I was way off.

    Took a ton of pics from the show and a few shop tours the day before.

    Enjoy.......

    Jez Louise, that's a lot of pix. I only made it half way thru... for now.
    Any more info on the model cars? They appear to be a large scale - my favorite kind. Thanx, Gary

    Nice photos. Quite a bit to look through. I see you tried to get some spy shots of the frame on our Packard. Haha

    Guys thanks for the compliments.. OK, just did not feel right only posting the link so now I will post of some of the pictures that I liked. I am sure others have posted pics from the event, not going to double check what has or has not been posted, just going to add what some of the HAMB friendly rides I liked.

    This ride knocked our socks off, Hollywood Hotrods knows how to build a car, the detail was incredible...

    this things had so many custom touchs, looks like it should have been a 60s Revel model.

    @Boones .
    Thanks for sharing all these great photos :) the show was a blast and it really was like living the dream.
    Back at home now in a very cold and snowy Sweden. I sure wish I was a Aussie right now, don't they have summer right now ?
    Seriously were heading back to Ca next week to have the car at Sacramento Autorama before shipping it back to Sweden, I can't wait ;)
    Cheers Mate ! /Martin

    tmlcracing, sorry for the mistake, I was tired, I knew where you had shipped it from but my fingers typed the wrong thing. We spoke for a very short time on Saturday, I think it is great what you have done....

    timwhit, thanks.. I try to document the shows now more than just shoot what I like. I hope in 20, 30, or 50 yrs from now it will allow folks to see what was there, not just the top show cars.. I know I am not a top class builder or even mediocre, so this is how I contribute to this thing we call hotrodding. I realized there was one car I did not share and I believe might be a contender for next yr if completed...
