Tire spun generator to run lights on your bike. My father made me put one on the bike I used to deliver papers EARLY in the morning when it was still dark.

This is bound to be a huge thread. I like the early color printing best and the limited palette used with litho and silk screen. Here's some old Essex stuff.

Steffen, I don't know if you wanted to include food labels as well as auto related. If not take this one out. It's for all my Texas friends.

Is it a fake or a joke? Isn't "gay" homosexual? Funny name ...

Gay didn't mean that in the 50s. It meant happy and care free. Modern groups often hijack words and images for new purposes. It's real. My cousin Johnny from Texas doesn't like it though. It was a label for the end of a wooden crate. There are hundreds if not thousands of can and crate label from 30s-60s just from California alone. Most used lithograph print process. That means a different drawing for each primary color overlapped to make secondary colors and shading.

This is a sticker gracing the windshield on the hotrod and I really like it. It harkens back to the early to mid sixties perhaps its older.
Perfect for the kook behind the wheel with a big smile on his face...
