grease cap

Is there something I can do about the grease cap sticking out so far on a stock 31 chevy coupe. I have a set of steel wheels on it now. Looking to put some later model wheels on it, an figured ceter caps won't fit over them. Thanks Joe

 

Probably not,,they usually are pretty close fit.

Not a recommendation but you might be able to trim the end of the spindle and use shorter profile caps. HRP
