Hot Rods Great day to be a HAMBer!

I just received a parcel from fellow HAMBer "BAREOOT", Jerry in Ca.
Inside was a brand-new red metalflake steering wheel and a matching red/white dice shift knob. I've been searching for a red 'flake wheel ever since getting my Es*** two years ago, and I was lucky enough to be the first to respond to his ad in the cl***ifieds a few weeks ago. A big THANK YOU to Jerry for taking the extra effort to ship this stuff up here to Canada!!

It may seem silly to get all excited over stuff like this, but these wheels are getting so hard to find!!

Here's a pic of the pieces. You'll have to wait to see them installed, that may not happen for awhile.

 

Nothing like finding that "that last piece to the puzzle". Especially when it's something that is no longer made. A pristine piece is frosting on the cake.

Those two "finds" aren't the stuff that's life or death kind of important, but the kind of goodies that make you smile everytime you look at them...pretty hard to beat a feeling like that...enjoy
