Well only been on the forum for about 3 months. I came on here looking for a 49-51 mercury moredoor. And found a 49 merc. Just would like to say how great of an experience it was dealing with another hamber and how great the member was and is still helping me with out with things even now after I have it.
I also have a few questions the car has air ride on all 4 corners with half inch line with push together connections. Are these the connectors everyone uses because the semis we run have compression fittings and it seems to me u would have less chance of these style leaking so I am looking for some opinions. Also the car has discs up front and drums on back and its using a 74 mustang master cylinder. Is this system ok or should I be updating this to a power master brake system. Just a few questions for now and I'm sure I will have more. any help is greatly appreciated thank you

  2. I guess the real question is does everything work ok? Those air fittings are quite common, as are the Mustang brakes. Does it stop to your satisfaction? If so, enjoy it like it is!

push connecters are all that are used on the air systems by ridetech and other suppliers, if the car is not easy to stop put a powerbooster on it and see if it is better.
