Whats snow? I think I saw it once but that took a day's drive to get there, but then it might have just been light sand??

Yeah but during those 6 hours it was pandemonium, store shelves were raided and the state closed down!

I was down there in San Angelo when we got about 2 inches of snow, very amusing watching the locals :)

Frantically making preperations to get a 220 volt line to my garage so I can put heat in it. At least enough heat so I can continue the build over the winter without icicles forming on my fingers. I have so much that is almost ready to start on the A and so little time before it's just too freaking cold.

I meant to install a new garage heater before winter came but between our basement flooding and my wife's car blowing a head gasket, looks like ill I one more year without one...

I don't know how you guys do it. I become miserable when it dips into the 40's here. I'm good in the 50's as long as it's sunny. If it were 14* I wouldn't even get out of bed.

This is the best time of year to build and take care of the small updates you cant get to when you are driving the car all the time. I build in the winter with the goal of driving in the spring/summer/fall. 47 cadillac WILL be on the road in April, gotta have goals!

Dont need 220, I have an oil fired hot air furnace in my shop, 120v line is all that is needed. Found it used like new on craigslist for cheap, used metalbestos chimney parts found cheap as well. New oil tanks are at home depot if you cant find a good used one.

  16. I was havin a fun day mowing the lawn on Friday, out in the fresh air. Saturday, I was looking for the snow shovels.....LOL

Oh well, it was just a tease. Hoping for another mild winter. Last year I got a $765.00 refund from my oil company....I bought stuff for the 40 Coupe.
And the Wholly Bears here are the same colors as last year....screw that almanac...these little bastards know the score.....I hope.

The Florida Pan Handle is Gods Country. Every day is another day in paradise. We split the time with Kentucky. The best of both worlds.

Amen. Funny how our blood thins out after we live in Florida for a while. We just watched some tourists swimming in the pool in Daytona and it was in the 50's. We had two jackets on.

It's been nice here, 34° this morning and suppose to be in the 50's this weekend. I'm thinking barbecue, beer after a long cruise to the hardware store to buy new snow shovels.

Snow and rain here in NY too. Not even an inch accumulated and these shitheads spread a 1/4" of salt on EVERYTHING. I guess the cruising season is officially over now...

Haha well maybe you will catch the eye of the hit chick next door. In all seriousness tho i cannot stand the cold. Here in maryland we can swing from eown around 0 or single digits and all the way up to 105 and higher. I like the heat better, and its humid as hell up here. Dry heat is a little more forgiving, still damn hot tho

dont worry my friend, yall got way to many strange laws goin on there!! LOL....but i got admit yall got some nice weather..

  30. Maybe she was hot 60 years ago :D

People say that about dry heat, but I feel the opposite. When its humid, air blowing makes it tollerable to me, but 120+ is like a hair dryer blowing on you, plus try sitting down on vinyl seats
