    Hey guy's
There is a new book that was just released a couple of weeks ago called - San Diego Drag Racing and the Bean Bandits. It shows pics and stories about how Joaquin Arnett started racing and well as starting the Bean Bandits back in the 50's.

Lot' of real early pics of drag racing, the lakes and Bonneville. Some cool pics of early drag strips like Paradise Mesa and Pomona and how Joaquin was the first guy experimenting with nitro back in the day. I know they used to call him the Grand Daddy of Nitro. Even Big Daddy went to him for nitro advise back in the day.

I highly recommend it and I'm sure any Hot Rodder would enjoy this book.
