BUT................... Be aware that not all companies build their tires exactly the same. One brand can very well build a given size 1" (or more OR less), than a different brand. Been this way forever. AND...the way that tires are built, the same company CAN build the SAME tire a different diameter than the next. YES, it happens. Ever been to a drag race and see a crewman measuring the tire diameter..? This is what they are doing. Measuring their tires so that they can match the diameters when they put them on the car. And...THIS is with critical, expensive tires !! Mike
While we are on the subject of measuring, this handy wheel width measuring tool comes in real handy when determining wheel WIDTH with a tire still mounted. Also, tire dimensions can change depending on what width wheel is used. https://www.carliftparts.com/produc...apHV8NcL51GYEq5C31Gvs0AWV0sTMdB8aAi6JEALw_wcB
Thanks, nochop! This is an excellent site to get you started. Once you have determined the wheel diameter and tire diameter, you can go to your favorite tire site(s) to shop. Don't forget to double check the diameter once you make your selection!
