    BARON VON TINGLER!!

Dude, do my eyes deceive me, or does that red bullet bird have late 70's lincoln dish wheels? Do you know if they fit the car well? Got a better pic of them on it? I love those wheels, i've always thought they're super-custom with the right center cap...

BTW, that truck is friggin sweet...

  5. Nice pics...looks like a good time! Any more pics of the "tub"?

Looks like you guys had a good time. The rival club's pickup looks like a 38-39 ford cab with 40 mopar front sheetmetal. I like it!

    mojo,
those wheels you speak of do work well on the early birds,as a buddy of mine had them on his wifes 58 or 59 t-bird(if the architecture is the same).i like em' too!

  10. Mid 70's Towncars and Marks had those wheels but in a 5 on 5" bolt pattern. The red T-bird in the photo should have 4.5" bolt patern so I imagine the wheels on it prolly came from a Lincoln Versailes. They had the small bolt pattern.

Thanks for the wheel info guys! I was wondering about the types, because i'm familar with the big lincolns and 5" patterns, but I didn't know there was a 4.5" version. I've always liked them because they look like the old Halibrand solid dish wheels from the early 60's...

The more I look at that ford/dodge truck, the more I dig it... man..
