I always have been a fan of the Arfons brothers creations ran across this in a 1955 R&C and it was a new one on me.
Ranger aircraft engine powered, rear engined dragster.
I had seen Ranger sixes in early sprint cars but this was a new one on me.
    Enjoy.

The Arfons brothers basically started the "dare to be different" wing of hot rodding. Aircraft engines of all kinds, whatever - made no difference to Art and Walt. They figured out how to make it go fast.

One thing than makes the Ranger interesting is it is an inverted engine. Cylinders point down.
