"Allow myself to....introduce myself" I'm Erick and have watching this site for a month now. I was reading a feature hot rod kulture mag who said he built his car with all of your help. He said that all ya all "really get it"...Well I dont so look forward to some skoolin. I have built 5 cars all muscle cars yet the 34 ford is the oldest true hot rod i have ever taken on. I aint a fan of billet, but i see the true art in cars that are built with thought and experience. I have always loved g***ers since my early days at PIR...Pueblo International Raceway. I love many of the rat rods though I think the term is overplayed. My time and funds are always limited (two kids and a wife) though a guy has to create a bit. I am i the process of finishing me ecolonine, putting my Vega wagon back together and rebuilding a 80's kx 250. Of course I have a road king...wife made me sell the shovel, but I long for an old bike again....got to finish some of this stuff first. I love metal, guns, cars, bikes and ****s, shocking I am sure. I have to lay off the beer cause i am gettin fat and make bad decisions... The 34 needs alot of your help...I lack direction completely so advise is well recieved. Here is the info: 34 cab...no rust channeld 6 inches. No chop (yet), handbuilt frame with allison pinto suspension, allison rear ladder bar, 283 40 over, th350, posi with 308's, monza tilt, cutt bed (i gotta fix this) the front fenders are gl***, the running boards and rear fenders are steel. while the wiring is a rats nest everything works save the turn signals. It came with the original stamped frame which i am considering putting back together...I love the strait axle look not to mention a little easier to ***le (need your input here) Thanks to all that teach and help...
