Greetings All, I have been looking at posts for many months, and I thought it was time to register. I am working on restoring a 1938 Ford truck. I am also starting work on a fenderless bare bones early p-u. I will continue to read the posts, but may eventually have a question that is not in the archive? I hope all are doing well. You might enjoy meeting Bob Chantland who is re-doing the old school as a motor-museum if you don't already know him. His son Sid lives nearby and is a major gearhead. There is still vintage tin in that area. Greg
FiddyFour: The project I am working on right now is a 35-40 ford fram that I am installing period front axle and a 2.3L drive train from a ford ranger. My goal is 30 mpg. Plan on running it fenderless, but with hood and hood sides to cover the motor. I plan on trying to hide conversion the best I can. Old style shifter and all other aestetics. Still need to find the cab. 32-37 ford cab. Just a little more about me. Seen as your from Wisconsin have you ever been to Iola? Went for the first time, and now understand what a real swap meet is. What projects or completed cars are you enjoying now?
