My name is Harold McGruther, but friends call me McGoo. I'm a regular on the Jockey Journal (and I've just been granted blogger boy status on the JJ2 home page), but I'm a newbie to the Original Jalopy Journal and the HAMB. My friend Billdozer recommended I join the fun because you guys know how to party. We'll see about that. I've loved every minute of the 10 months I've spent on the JJ2, so I don't expect anything less than similar good times on the JJ1. Some day I'll sack up and get a cool car. A tube frame '64 Nova with an LT1 350 would be my dream car, but I'd take an early '70's 340-powered Dodge Dart or my grandma's old SS409 Impala in a pinch. You heard right: Pop Pop left Grandma his SS409 when he kicked the bucket in '65 For now, I'll have to pacify my motorhead jones with my recently finished H-D Sportster-powered Softail Sportfighter and a stable full of dusty bicycles... Thanks for letting me aboard. I'll try not to sink the ship with too many obtuse references
