Hello everyone! My name is Joel, some of my friends call me uncle dirty . I have been into hot rodding for as long as i can remember. My second car was a 1970 chevelle SS.I did my first engine rebuild on her when i blew the motor up missing a shift into second gear two days after i bought it, that was 20 some years ago. these days i am putting together a 1959 pan. Rigid frame, 1936 UL front end , soggy drum breaks and some fun "extras" in the engine department. I also just purchased a 1956 Chevy Bel Air. Im hoping to get it up and running as a g***er for this summer. would like to make it out to some nostalgia drags.
thank you for the welcome(s) . i am very excited to be apart of this community. I have g***er MADNESS right now , and am trying to learn as much and as fast as i can! hoping to get my car to the Byron dragway Meltdown.

Welcome from New York. My son lives in Holly Michigan. Great place to visit and nice Wednesday night cruise. Nice choice with the 56 Chevy. Aren't they a good lookin car? Been doing your Woodward Cruise for many years and hope to be there again this August.
woodward is an awesome event, and now they have Metro cruise in Grand Rapids ,which is quickly becoming a very large event.

Welcome! Id like to see some pics of the 56. I used to have a 55 two door hard top that I loved. Great cars to work on and lots of character.
