Just joined after lurking awhile on here. Been an old car/pickup junkie for over 40 years. My current vehicle is a '65 Chevy C10 which is driven almost every day. I have grown fond of the patina paint job, but occasionally consider a repaint.

Hi & welcome from South Texas. Nice job on the interior. What was that round thing a few inches below your shift knob as I see you removed it? Perhaps a rubber bumper to keep from banging hand or shifter into the dash? LOL. Jimmie

 

I still don't know what they were thinking on that round thing. It's sometimes difficult to figure out the actions of a previous owner.
