Hi everyone, stopping here first like I'm supposed to! I've been reading the forums and looking for ideas and guidance on my first true hot rod project. I've done quite a bit of repair / upgrade / engine / trans swaps on later cars and trucks but nothing this old. I have a 1930 (?) model A and it's in good shape I think. I want to be true to the car and not ruin it, but I don't want to just restore it either. I have a decent small block 302 from another car (long gone!) and I see others have done similar projects so I'm following along! Here are some pics, before I got it in the garage. I took out the interior though it was full of mold and mouse/squirrel remnants. I'm excited to drive it some day and it's great how many people stopped to talk to me when I was towing it home. Even found out my neighbor across the street has an un-restored original '32!!
OK been lurking around here quite awhile and learning how much I have yet to learn! Saw many views on here but no replies, so I reply to myself =] I'm not 100% which year / body this is and was told the wheels aren't the correct year? I think it's a Briggs body? 1931? (http://www.gwcmodela.org/images/bodyphotos/170-B.jpg) I had a photo of the tag in the engine compartment and will look for the other body builder marks too.
