Hey everyone, name's Alex from Kansas City. Been reading the HAMB for a few years now, and don't know why I never registered... I love it here and read it several times a week..I'm living in KC, been here long enough to call it home, but me and my whole family are from Texas. I love all things cars, and have since I was a kid. I'm no top-notch builder or welder, but I'm a gearhead and have built some cars for myself to have fun in.... I've been going to Viva for several years now...going again this year. My Dad and I started going in 2002... He just turned 69 and it's fun for him to people watch. He's fascinated at the "kulture". He talks about the cars and when he was driving them back in the day... Wife loves going there, we got married there last year. Her Grandfather restored 30's Fords for a hobby, they were all beautiful. He p***ed on last September and this spring I'm going down to the Farm in western Kansas to help go through his barns of car stuff. I hope to end up with one of the '35-'38 Trucks that he never finished. Well, I look forward to talking to some of you on here, and seeing you all in Vegas!!
