Hey H.A.M.B national. I'm Aaron Egan from Sterling,IL. My baby is a 64 Galaxie 500 4 dr. Bernice has been in the family since my great great aunt bought it as a dealer demo in CA. In 82 she passed and her nephew (Pa) settled her estate in San Jose and got the car in the will. My grandmother flew out and groined him for a cross continent road trip through wine country across the north pass of the Rockies in to Canada and back to walnut IL. Pa died on my 14th birthday. On my 16th my grandmother gave me the****le in a birthday cars. The car sat for 20 years since****led in 1983; after some bad decisions and short term loss of driving privileges I found my self with no car. Planning to buy a $500 special (in 2003 money) my brother suggested I spend $500 and my winter break from college to get the "Old Ford" on the road. Thanks to him I did. $486 and Bernice was on the road. I'm the longest owner of the 3; at this time I've owned this car for 21 years. One of the kids get her but that's a bit down the road.
