Spent a couple of hours fooling with the latest project. Runs, drives, stops, entertains a half dozen old guys.
Since it runs and drives and it is in great shape, the restore or hotrod debate begins. I have other projects that are less good, so this one might stay sort of original- for now.
Recently my brother-in-law decide on the spur of the moment to sell his roadster pickup, I told him years ago if he ever wanted to sell let me know, he got a wild hair and sold it when I was in the hospital, he said he didn't want to bother me. HRP
In our jurisdiction we need to pass a safety certificate, so there will be some work and modifications ahead. That paint can’t pass for patina so there will be some work to do there. During the drive it was established that the cab mounting bolts didn’t have nuts- they were behind the wheel. I had this posted on the door when I brought it over for show and tell, but I have other less complete model A’s to create something new.
