I shipped two 40 ford fenders from flint mi to ogden utah on greyhound bus. Now, they can't find a 2x3x5foot package. Tracking says they are in salt lake city but no one knows for sure where they are. When trying to talk to someone, all you get is answering machines and people from another country giving you the same # answering machine. They told me it would be 4or5 days and it's been over a month. I can only ***** to who ever, don't ship greyhound, they're workers come from another planet.
They wouldn't let me insure them for more than $300. The tracking # said they went from flint mi to Chicago where they stayed for 7 days, then down to dallas, then to denver, then to salt lake city where they laid for 11 days. They never made it to ogden. The guy who bought them couldn't talk to anyone either do he finally drove 120 miles and found them in a back room in salt lake city. All that time and no one would answer the phone . Six weeks to ship, not 4 days as told.
The whole story ****s and is inexcusable, but I'm glad to hear that he finally got them and they weren't lost forever.
Evidently they don't treat people any better than packages. "Original review: June 29, 2019" "So I sent my 12 and 15 year old children to see their dying mother in another state. Using Greyhound bus lines was the worst mistake ever. Trip down the buses were late and made it long. Way back bus delayed 2.5 hours in another state then rules started to be enforced. No p***enger under 17, then we put them on a bus but don't know where we sent them. On and on all day. Now find them 4 hours away no food or money. Left only to be told, "We can get them closer but it will be 2 am..." Wait kids can't ride after 8p. I'm driving to get them. Should have done it in the first place. Never again Greyhound. I will p*** this on for all to see." ^This was one of the milder ones. There were 1,717 reviews with two 5-star, two 4-star, about 25 3-star and 45 2-star. That leaves over 1,600 1-star the lowest rating possible. Yeah, I'm kind of bored this evening.
