1952-59 Ford Grill stainless or chrome?

    I always thought it was chrome, still think it is. Figured I should make sure because I have seen some mention stainless. I got more curios when realizing the bumpers and parking lights were terrible after 50+ years, but my grill actually looks very good compared to, and doesnt have any pitting.

    Hell I didnt know the parking lights were pot metal until I had them rechromed and he told me.

    The grille is chromed, but the centre bar like your example is stainless, just to confuse you.

    Chrome parts will have a much brighter shine than stainless will . Chrome will also be much heavier than stainless . You can also get scratches out of stainless and chrome you can't .
