Art & Inspiration Grille badge for Chrysler

I found this today at the swap meet. Any idea what year or model it might belong to? Might try to adapt it into a belt buckle. Thanks in advance.

 

I could be wrong, but I think this is for one of Chrysler's outboard motors.

I can visualize a 'tag topper' for a rear license plate.

 

I might convert it into a belt buckle.

 

That would depend on how much it weighs. If its too heave, you may have a problem with it pulling your pants down! Been there, done that (and that was before I was fat).

 

The size of your belt buckle will be competing with the ones that cowboys wear.
