Hi Ed, where did you see that ice cream truck? i built a bunch of them and i always wondered what happened to them.
This grille is from one of my long gone old parts trucks and has been hanging around in the barn for over 40 years. I never got rid of it because you know, maybe I could make something of it some day. Well today I made a picture to post on this thread with it so I guess it was worth holding on to.
Also had this old Diamond-T truck grille guard I found years ago in one of the gardens. It still has the brass tag from Rustin Iron Works in New York City on it. Tried to look up some history on the old iron works but could not find anything good.
I was at the Burlington NSRA meet last weekend and one fellow had this Jag XK150 grille for sale. I dunno, maybe it's just me, but if you flip it over it would make a pretty nice track nose grille. Whaddyall think?
