Hot Rods Grills....model A to 34

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by borderboy1971, Feb 2, 2019.

  1. It seems 32 Ford grilles are the go to grille for ALOT of vehicles. First off, let me say I love 32 Ford's, have a couple myself. But I find 32 shells and grilles are too widely used. It's my opinion of course but I don' like the look of them on 33/4 or almost anything else for tbat matter. I'm ok seeing them on some model A's, as long as it doesn' become the belly ****on. I like model A shells on model A's. I like 33/4 shells on 33/4 etc.
Now onto my question....is there any pictures out there of 33/4 grilles on 32's (I've seen a few on model A's), or model A setup on 32,33/4 etc. And what are your opinions. And Yes, opinions are like aholes.....everyone has one.

the main reason is you can buy a new 32 as cheap as a good used model a, and a good used 34 is over a grand, and new is 2500, and 33 aint worth talking about because there arnt any

I've seen a few 33/34 p***enger car shells used on other cars like Model A's, and frankly to me they come of looked like rodent rods, the aesthetics of the deuce grille is it sits straight up and down and that also is how the Model A grilles are designed to fit.

I had a friend that used a Deuce grille on a 34 Ford and I never cared for the look.

I have never seen a '32 Ford with a Model A grille shell. HRP
