i was wondering if any of you have or have seen any rides with 33 & 34 ford car grill. for example a model t or model a with the 33/34 grill. i have been searching for pics and havent been able to find anything. thanks sparky
The common thing was to put a 32 grille on a 33 or 34.. If its done right it looks sweet. Dunno bout the others but my opinion .. Fuggly Dave
I don't think I've ever seen a T or A with a '33 or '34 car grill, but I saw a '32 Ford pickup with a '34 car grill and it looked kind of cool. It seems like a T or A won't match up well with the curves and the size of a '33-'34 car grill though. And '33-'34 car grills are usually too expensive anyway.
i have been collecting parts and i had a 33 grill from a old project of my fathers. i realy like these grills but havent seen very many on the kustoms being built these days. i would like to see what they would look like on a roadster car or truck of a differant year then 33/34. thanks for the reply guys. sparky
Check pictures of early Ford entries at Indianapolis. Their 1933 entry has the grille m,ounted at a severe angle and an incredible body. Somebody makes a 33-34 glass grille mounted on a slant which some folks have mounted on T roadsters. I personally don't like it because of style issues but so it goes. It may be Spirit Motors in Mountain Home AR that makes them. Check the NationalTBucketAlliance website for pictures of a few. that is all small letters plus dot com.
I am curious too. I have seen one or too pics with a 34 grill on a model A, but can't locate them now. Any pics out there?
