Growing up Brizio - sorta off topic

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by Born a HotRodGal, Mar 28, 2009.

  1. I will have to get the correct connection but I believe it is my good pals sister in law that went to HS with you Terri?

  2. Thank You Terri! Funny coincidence, I just got off the phone, with someone who used to haul some of those cars around the country, taking them to shows. You probably know him too,or at least your Dad will. Dal Middleton is his name, he worked for Promotions Inc. in those days. Please keep these historic photos coming, we can't get enough of them here on the HAMB.:D

Cool photos! I haven't seen too many of the Beverly Hillbillies Hot Rod Truck. The original one is in a museum south of me though.

Those pictures absolutely rock!! My daughters logged a lot of rumble seat time, as well, but your dad seems to have had better connections than I ever did....

One chance meeting w/Andy was on our trip west in '73.
Mr. B welcomed us into the shop and offered us space and tools to put the cars right, after 3000 miles in one week.
When all was repaired, including a T windshield frame replaced, he refused to accept any money!
We were young, and stretched thin as to $. "You guys have a great trip" he said.
Still remember the shop site, and his generosity.
    What a guy!
