In spite of the family's request that people respect their privacy in this matter, someone posted what they 'heard', on the internet which prompted Polly to clear up the misinformation surrounding Bill's condition.

Thanks for posting the link Jackie. As we're all aware, when a "celeberity" falls ill you will always have those who feel they are the chosen spokesperson, those who do nothing more than spread second and third hand news which is claimed to have come from "reliable soarces".
Great to hear he's on the road to recovery and Im looking forward to hearing further good news from the family.
