Grumpy Jenkins & Frank McGurk Books

Hey People,

I'm trying to track down some old books on early SBC's and this is the best place to search. I'm not a collector after making an investment purchase, I'm just after some used books to use! I want them to help me learn some tricks and build some hot early small SBC motors. I'm cool with copies or what ever or if some has some copies, maybe I could pay for them to be scanned and then donate the files to the HAMB for free circulation of the knowledge within.

Anyway, see what you have and lets see what we can do.

1. Chevy power guide 1971-2 by Bill (Grumpy) Jenkins, Engledrum Publishing, Northport, NY

2. SORTED - The Chevrolet Racing Engine" by Bill Jenkins & Larry Schreib 1976

3. SORTED -Modifying the Late Model Chevrolet, 1955-62 by Frank McGurk

i have the book by Frank McGurk. i don't want to sell it , but could possibilly scan it in and email to you...it's 44 pages so it would take awhile

I just happened to buy the CHEVROLET RACING ENGINE/ BY BILL JENKINS
book of ebay for $7.00. Those things pop up on there from time to time. I too am a Grumps fan and are looking for items.

I have never seen or heard of the first book you listed. That might be difficult to find, but check ebay weekly and I bet you will find some.

Did you ever find a copy of the Chevy Power Guide book ???????

jenkins was selling these at his table last year at york, so they're still around.
