hey - that was a cool show - I liked the vibe of the people and I may do that show again.....we will see what the schedule is like.....

the thing that I was disappointed in was the lack of traditional cars....

I understand that there are only 100 entries for this show, but I think there were only about 10 cars that were worth looking at.

Moriarity had the coolest car there of course............

Nick Sinclair, Jeremy,Tuck and the entire gang at Porter Mufflers (minus Justin) helped me load up my trailer/truck

and I did not even pay them!

REALLY nice people - perhaps they saw the look of dread on my face when they knew I had to try to load all my crap in the truck AND keep a 2 year old and a 7 year old content......

    ha

not an easy task - there are only so many cartoons the kids will sit through before they are off wandering around and you have to drop everything to go try to find them........

back when we were kids - it did not seem like a big deal - but nowadays it freaks ya out a little when the tiny ones go missing for anything over 1 minute......

    maybe I am just paranoid

BUT - the point I was TRYING to make is that I REALLY REALLY appreciate the help ya'll gave me this weekend.

    Thanks again.

hey Tuck - you gonna be my Steve McQueen in Austin?

    ha

    ok

    later

    John

Of course we had a grrrreat time with you as well. You have so many cool things. I could stand and look at your stuff all day. If only I had the dinero to purchase more. The DVDS are awesome. Convoy!!

It was a cinch helping you pack & load. We had 5-6 people, so it went fast. I think!

Hope to be next to you again in the future. Never a dull moment.

Tuck & Worm are alot of fun. You missed Mickey's Diner with us. That was a blast.

I know my camera sucks! I just bought a new one today. I was so mad at my old camera, everything was blurry.

Hey Tuck, Is that a Porter in your pocket?

Thanks for putting up with us all weekend.

If we could get him to join the HAMB, He'd be famous! Like Foose!
Here's a table and chairs he did for the show. And a hand painted sign

I noticed Becky was even wearing a custom striped "Steve & Barry's" Jacket.
I've known Ike for at least 25 years. I've had him stripe a couple of projects. It's cool all the stuff he does for Moriarity. Here's the eyeball he did on my coupe.

I would have liked to go with ya to get some local good eats - but when the wife and kids are with ya - you gotta spend some quality family time with them at the end of the day (which consisted of going to the hotel - putting the wife and kids to bed then I ran out to get Taco Bell....so if you were wondering what those smells were on Sunday............)

You have to take care of your family! That's what this is all about.
Making a living doing what you love and hopefully, being able to pay the bills.
