Hi there folks... Been pokin' around the board here for a month or so now,... just reading the posts and checkin' out what is going on. I am Pickup Guy I've messed with old cars ever since I WAS A KID. Me and my dad bought and sold old cars for about 20 years. Mostly Model A's threw '40's stuff. About all we ever bought back then were 'original' and we bought all 'road ready' stuff so we could drive them and enjoy them. I guess we had about 25 or 30 old cars over the years. I've decided to BUILD my OWN vehicle now... looking for an old pickup to re-do and make into a everyday street rod. Wanna drop in a 327 or 350, widen the fenders, stretch the cab, put in bucket seats, nice stereo, power windows, door poppers, maybe even a moon roof. I plan on making it 'nice' but not worried about making it a "show piece" since I will be driving it daily. Dad is retired and getting up in age,.. and we spent so MANY Saturdays out searching for old cars when I was young,.. and this is a throw back to those days (looking for me a truck). It'll be fun to restore and 'rod' a truck together with him and get some good father/son time together. I'm looking forward to the challenges and rewards of the project. Also I hope you all can pitch in and help out when needed (may be alot of that needed) hahahahaha It's good to be here! Pickup Guy
