That doesn't look like the A car to me. Is it a restoration or repop? When I was around it it was black and had slightly different body lines with no funky wheels attached behind. Maybe that's a scooter that Ray or Doug ran over. Don't remember the wheels being polished on the A car either, but I forget a lot in the last week let alone 35+ years.

Buffaloracer, there is a new book out about g***ers, and in it the author shows that car and said it was a later version with cut down lower fenders and body.

I think S-W-C had a light blue one, a black one and a metalic blue one.

I'm sure someone here has more info.

    Hey..
Saw this car this summer... Talk'n to owner he clains this is the real deal..
Anybody know the(real) story on this car? I've heard some (strange) tales about how the car got from way back then to present..

Question... anybody got a pic of a 66/67 ish GTO that was out of M***. The car was called "GOLDDIGGER" and ran throughout the East..

  14. Right on Pontiac Slim..........that beast just rumbles....plus I have to correct myself, it's not a Comet but a Falcon....sorry, I'm a Chevy Guy! [IMG]

I saw Ev Rowse this afternoon at his shop and let him know they had posted pic's of his old g***er on the HAMB. Told me he's suppost to be racing it maybe next year for one weekend in M***. He also had a very kool print of about 8 or 9 shots of the Wild Child over the years on one large sheet!! Ev also mention that he heard they might do a plastic model of the racer in the near future!
Great to see some interest in this real deal g***er that was very well know on the g***er tracks in the 60's!!
