I found this for sale but neither the seller or I know what it is, do you?
Its got to be 30's. I'm really hopeing its Ford even though deep down I know its not. With them large rear kick-ups I'm thinking Es***? Isn't an Es*** frame a three springer? I don't see any provision for the Parallel leaf springs on the frame.
Unfortunatly I don't have any more pics.

The rear crossmember certainly looks Ford, and so does what I can see of front one. Everything else is different from anything I have seen, although center K is reminiscent of a '32. With those cross spring crossmembers, I think it has to be a Ford--but something strange to me. Perhaps one of those mid-1930's 60HP English and European Fords that were a bit smaller than US Ford--Ford 22 or some such?? And wasn't the Pilot based on that Ch***is with a bigger engine??

  3. maybe Anglia?

Sorry I should have said. The guy who has it imports alot of stuff from the states, which is why I'm thinking American. The ch***is in the top corner of the pic is a Willys Jeep.
It looks to big and beefy to be British.

It's not US Ford--the center crossmember area is different from any of those, and from the pics that area would seem to be unmodified.

What is the wheel base? The top of the frame rails look like they are rolled over, wonder what the reason was for that? looks like a nice find and start for a project.

Give us some dimensions--like center to center between springs.

  10. My guess is Model Y Ford.

Yes, Angla, Pop, Prefect, Thames, or Ford-Y. This is the stock ch***is out from under my Angli/Pop Ute. Part of the outer rails had been removed in this pic but it's basically the same as the ch***is you pictured. Wheelbase should be 90" or 94", depending on which model.
