Honestly... I was like 6 months old when those pics were taken. It's kinda of a love/hate emotion that I missed all the Rad stuff.

What's funny is, when I was a kid, all the guys had cut off shorts like the guy in the background. When your pants got to short, mom just cut em off and they were still usable for 3 more months.

When was the last time you told your kids, "You don't need new shorts"...."Go get me some dang scissors!"

 

Cars are pretty dated (except the Merc) but I like them all.

I was born in '77... that looks like the coverage from every magazine I had and model I built up through about '84. And then it got worse.

Ahh the 80's i was young and invincible ..
Then a bungee cord broke and took out my right eye spent a week at the hospital ,one friend had left a penthouse magazine open on the bed (i didn't know it, i had both eyes covered )).. both girfriends came to see me at the hospital at the same time later that nite ,the two argued how thier matching gold chain jewelry was from me and about the magazine's sordid contents, each one holding /wrenching my hand on either side of the bed .

the discussion got very heated and the nurse asked them both to leave you could hear them bitch yellin all the way down the hall ... My roommate (who i never saw)said that he had never seen any women so steaming mad with piercing dagger eyes before in his life..

One eventully pulled a knife on me........... I was married to the other for a while..

Sadly i do not own any of my 5 cars from this period of my life.. but i did look alot like the guy in the yellow shirt..

 

I rember those days I was only 9 but some of my earliest car memories are nomads with truspokes seems like that was the thing to do in the 80's.
now you are lucky to see a nomad at a show....


I wonder if that limo is vinnie bergmans? I was at his shop in '83 or '84 and he was already going full tilt in the production limo business.
